Isn't a crime invalid after a certain number of years? Like you can't be charged with something over 10 years old?

He was charged and convicted. Just not jailed.

Think y'all are talking about the same thing but it wouldn't apply in this case, because he got convicted within the statute of limitation, it'd be more like if someone got convicted and then was on the run imo.

Personally I say let my boy go! he turned his life around, got married a contributing member of society let him live
