He's probably doing it for the kids if the roles where reversed though a woman would never buy her ex a home even if it was in the kids best interest

Maybe not that exactly but there are definitely women who do things for their kid’s fathers to ensure their kids futures that they don’t have any obligation to do. Let’s not act like a woman letting her ex who has fell on hard times live with her and the kid isn’t an extremely common occurrence.

Not to mention it’s not even normal (in America at least) for a kid to be living with the father while also having a mother who could afford to pay off a mortgage. So the roles being reversed isn’t even likely.

Nothing wrong with it. Parents needs to let their egos go away so they can provide a safe home for their children. If she’s a good person then why not?


Now if she was a horrible person this would be a different opinion

Me and the mother of our children have a great relationship and if I had the money I would have no problem doing it. She never gave me no drama, never got on my ass when I had to do a bunch of traveling and working a lot of long hours to get to where I am in life. We never went to court for child support, just operated on the honor system and let me see my girls as much as I wanted. We didn't work as a couple but she did great as a mother so I'd hook her up for it if I had the money.
