Yeah I realized after a while being remote definitely hurt my chances of breaking through the glass ceiling. I just liked working from home enough and happy enough with my salary that I'm not stressed on getting a promotion. But you are definitely doing things the right way. SaluteUpdate, coming up on 5 years there. I'm there in the office virtually every day. I chose to be because as I said in 2021, I'll follow my supervisor's schedule and she's in the office 5 days a week. My staff is on a hybrid schedule. Damn near time for me to get that CFO spot too as she is tentatively retiring next year. If not, they already know what it is, I'm gone. CPA/MBA combination won't have me hurting for opportunity, even in these job conditions.
I ain't say quit on the spot because of it if you don't have another gig lol.

My days are typically busy as well, but this is just my schedule for Today. The rest of the week won’t be like this
but it still beats being in the office.
