Company sent a very specifically worded email saying we have til Friday to “apply” for the WFH forever exemption but you have to explain in detail why you don’t wanna come back.
the plan to come back will have us in the office 2-3 days a week. Of course they want people back since they own the fukking skyscraper
but folks are already resisting like a motherfukka
on the exemption form you can claim medical reasons or some shyt like your role simply doesn’t need you to be there, among other things.
My “reason” was going to be Covid PTSD
but somehow that may not be enough. Thankfully the union is getting involved for that extra layer of fukkery and just seeing how people are moving in NY, Rona should be on schedule to land (again) sometime in the fall.
