They fukkin their employees like other jobs in this line if work...My first job was In n Out when I was 16. They pay well but are insanely strict....
Also rarely see any black employees![]()
but all the burgers to drown your sorrows inJust imagine the stress and the hours you would have to put in![]()

fatburger>>>>they love hyperbole, you make six figures out here, you're fine. no you're not at the top of the food chain like you might be if your were making $150k in nebraska, but you can pay your billsNobody is hating...160K in Silicon Valley area isn't a lot of money...
Facebook and Google engineers making 6 figures and being homeless or shaking up
Scraping by on six figures? Tech workers feel poor in Silicon Valley's wealth bubble
Running a food service industry isn't cushy...either
Waffle House paying high 5 figures down south...a similar salary to In-N-Out Burger managers...
vacaville is not 45 minutes to sf during commute hoursThose people are probably too fukking lazy to drive or want to live that city life. They can easily get a big, nice home in Vallejo, American Canyon or Vacaville which is like a 45 minute drive to the city with their salary. They can even take the ferry boat into the city.

animal fries...true fat assery :justwow:Edit- @Chris Cool already answered this.
Double double animal
One time tried that with animal fries, that was a mistake![]()

this article is bullshyt and/or picked people looking for very particular accomodations (i.e. does dude's wife work who has a family, cats want to live in the hottest SF neighborhoods to walk/bike to work...take your ass to the richmond or sunset). bytch said her and her husband make $1m but can buy a house? nikka where? the moon? :swaggywhat:One Apple employee was recently living in a Santa Cruz garage, using a compost bucket as a toilet. Another tech worker, enrolled in a coding bootcamp, described how he lived with 12 other engineers in a two-bedroom apartment rented via Airbnb. “It was $1,100 for a fukking bunk bed and five people in the same room. One guy was living in a closet, paying $1,400 for a ‘private room’.”
fukking ridiculous......
at some point these tech startups are going to have to embrace remote work from people in other states cause this current shyt is unsustainable....
This is why whenever we have these threads and kats talk about salary they magically duck from the cost of living argument
vacaville is not 45 minutes to sf during commute hours
no one wants long ass commutes. but yes, you need to realize you get less being closer in

i bought a fukking fourplex in north oakland making 1/9th of that...i'm sorry, this is not the reality for 99% of tech workers.
yea, there is 'i make $150k and "have" to pay $1500-2000/bd in SF for a 600 sq ft apartment' "struggling" and then there is i can't afford any rent in the damn inner bay cuz i make $45k. like NY, no, you're not living like a king, but profiling entitled whiny tech workers' "struggles" completely undermines what's actually happening for real people and families who make a combined $120k and less. you are not homeless making six figures out here unless you choose to be. those people living in garages and truck trailers are people who chose to do so since so much shyt is provided at work, they literally just need a place to lay their head and don't want to pay full rent for itlmao
I had to admit the couple who were making 1M but did make me laugh....
but the part about young workers struggling is too common for me to just dismiss it.....I see people on twitter complaining about the COL in the area all the time
the system money makes the world go around in life
Food is life and people humans lust for fast food
thisOP is late but all their managers start from bottom and sacrifice years to get up to that amount. Seniority plus it’s not a bunch of spots available. Dudes waiting on a manager to fukk up or retire.
