Contract coming up at the end of March. They offered me 16.70 to stay on as a full time employee that would start effective immediately leaving my $28 per on the table. Thought about it and couldn't think of 1 good reason to take that shyt :childplease:

Soon as this shyt end i'm back to H-town shooting for 70k :blessed:
Do they have good benefits? My company has this little calculator/wizard that gives your total compensation...like how much they pay in health insurance, disability or whatever. That's usually why they pay a little less because they offer more on the back end. But that's a big pay cut so you were good for not taking it.

I was factoring this in when I read OP but after looking at the extent of that pay cut...there's no way the benefits could outweigh his bi-weekly check, (assuming that's how he's paid). Considering what I've heard about the purchasing power in Houston, that 70 grand can go a long way...especially if you're single, child-free and not saddled with debt.

I was asking if you went full-time, were they offering a good benefits package along with that pay cut? If say, they offered you $20 an hour but they had great health/medical/vision, discounts, time off, tuition reimbursement, etc. Then the pay cut is worth it. But they are damn near halving your salary and like Fonsworth said I don't see a benefits package great enough to justify that.
