15 women confirmed for rumble couldn't have a Lita, Trish old guard interact with new guard maybe throw their names in.

MVP could have did something in the ring put crews over or something.
Duddley were jobbers last run now destroy the SD tag champions
Peep show was pointless and no edge sucked.
Miz still going off on DB like we will get that match ever.
I wanted passing the tourch night not bury current roster for old timers day

Don't matter, these neckbeards paid $800 for tickets and they will gladly do it again. This is the segment of the crowd that will keep eating the shyt WWE feed them. The clown guy and Brock Lesnar guy will whine about this while on the plane flying to Philly for Royal Rumble. :mjlol:

And ratings will continue to drop and they'll have to tarp off more parts of arenas. But at least they stuck it to the neckbeards, amirite?

What I don't get is, why not just have the Smackdown roster run a house show at Mahattan? They had AJ Styles, Charlotte, the Usos, and New Day all chilling at Raw for nothing. Could have easily had them put on some matches or do some skits with old talent to entertain the crowd there.

That would require effort and thought, and there is no evidence that WWE has either of those.

I don't think Vince and crew thought through this whole 2 arena thing properly lol
They really thought Manhattan Center and Barclays Center was gonna be nothin in terms of distance.

Had the show been at MSG, it's feasible to have a segment and then go to the other venue within that hour (for those outside of NY, Manhattan Center and MSG are literally a crosswalk apart. It's so close that you could conceivably make a street fight match where it starts at MSG and ends at Manhattan Center. It's not that doable between Brooklyn and Manhattan. they overshot the entire concept. Once they realized that mistake, they shoulda just split the show up better than they did. They didn't need to have all the backstage stuff at Barclays.

MSG would have been such a better idea for this show. like you mentioned with the distance, imagine them out in the streets filming segments and walking back and forth :wow:

really sick and tired of WWE's love affair with the Barclays Center. that partnership can't end soon enough.

nothing screams SUMMERslam more than Brooklyn, New York every year! :mjlol:

it's not a love affair. msg costs more to broadcast from than barclays and it costs more to rent out. wwe adopting barclays over msg is the ultimate in their recent "cost-cutting" moves.

The issue in this case is that MSG is booked for the Grammys this Sunday. If not for that, the two arena setup woulda been perfect. I can only imagine Miz wrestling, having to leave, get in NYC traffic just to go up to Manhattan Center and be seen. That's a pain in the ass and he was early in the show. At that point, if they wanted to turn the clock back, cool, but then just do Monday at Manhattan and Tuesday at Barclays

It would've taken GOAT production levels and preparation to make everyone happy. Nevermind that this was also supposed to be the last show before the Royal Rumble and Brooklyn and Manhattan aren't exactly within walking distance. Television wise, you have to make the advertisers happy so you have a dumbass amount of commericals. I do wonder why they don't do the screen within a screen on Raw like they do with SD!... Basically, you have to fit a lot of shyt in with a small amount of time.

What did they think was going to happen when they said they were going to run two venues? I'm pretty sure the people at the Barclay's Center weren't exactly thrilled watching the other venue with Undertaker and DX on the Titantron. I guess they could've prepared for the smark crowd by making that the "Legends Only" show, but they would've complained about new talent not being on the show.
