So yes, rules need to be put in place
There’s all kind of rules in place they easily side step. Nothing short of dismantling this entire economic system is going to change these circumstances and it has to start with government solving issues of housing costs an scarcity.

The government is converting affordable housing into luxury condos. “Rules” are never respected

I hear you, but we can’t be afraid of change, uncomfortability (if I spelled that right), doing something different and making a history being the first.

All we need is a few and we can make something incredible for the future.

Roll with me to Cody next year! :pachaha:

I been doing a shyt load of research and it’s beautiful

I plan on moving to Wyoming eventually once I saved up enough money to pay straight cash on a spot then use my VA Loan on a 2 family joint to start getting that residual bank rolling. There ain't no black people there but we have to start spreading out and it's one of the few states where you can get a stupid amount of land for cheap in comparison to the usual states.

I been looking at some places I been wanting to go vacation at or take a quick trip to chill in. And at first I was thinking about your typical spots like ATL, Vegas, NO, Miami, etc.

But then I started thinking “why don’t I think outside the box” and started researching some of the more fringe states/cities.

SDakota, Idaho, Montana, Wyoming.

Then I saw something in Wyoming that intrigued me and did a deep dive till I came across this brothers vids

Next year, I’m fukking with them spots in the great west. Come fukk with your boy! Lol

Check his channel out, he entertaining as hell and needs a show :mjlol:

they put NYC median income but borough specific rents, what's the borough specific median incomes? Also, been known for 3 decades now that Manhattan is for those making bank, Harlem was the holdout, which then got gentrified in the late 00's-10's, why is this news? Don't have money, don't live in Manhattan, there are four other boroughs plus the NJ burbs across the river...Manhattan never been an appealing place to live to me anyway, other than the quiet parts of the upper east and west sides

THE ARTICLE SAYS YOU
HAVE TO MAKE 116K TO QUALIFY
FOR A 1 BR IN BK NOW.

i was talking about them trying to juxtapose the qualifying income of 160k in Manhattan and 116k in BK with a NYC median salary of 67k. They need to share the median/avg salary of Manhattan residents specifically to see how divorced it is from rental requirements. That 67k number takes into account all of the boroughs/all of NYC, which of course skews it down given the Bronx, certain areas of Queens, BK and Staten Island. I'm sure the median salary in Manhattan is close to 100k given who lives there

And there it is.
and there it has been for 30-40 years...it is what it is. Manhattan at this point is the equivalent to the super affluent neighborhood in a city. Stop crying about not being able to live there when there are 4 other boroughs and a decent cities/towns across the river in Jersey that cost less. This is like whining about not being able to afford to live in Buckhead when there are other nice neighborhoods and burbs in and around Atlanta.
