Both of what y’all saying is true.

And we as black people need to expand and start looking at places like Wyoming, Idaho, Nebraska, and Montana

You can find a lot it places there for great prices

I’m planning on going to Cody, Wyoming next year
it has a population of less than 10,000 people :picard:

for comparison.

So how many people are there on a typical block? We couldn't find any hard numbers, but we did find thoughtful estimates. Perhaps 10,000 on a densely populated residential block that has three or more high rise apartment buildings. The same holds for a commercial block, although that shrinks significantly at night. The average would be 1,400 people per block. (based on 4 million people and 2,872 blocks) And if you're not tired of numbers, here's one more...there are 175,000 people per square mile in Manhattan during the day.

What retarded comprehension. Where the fukk did I mention anything about buying real estate in Manhattan?

My point is that renting in general is a fool's errand, and if you're not doing everything within your power to own your own place, regardless where it may be, you already lost. But some people enjoy paying another person's mortgage to live "under their rules" so at the end of the day, do you.

Because, you dimwit, this thread in general is about rents in Manhattan. This is an issue impacting blue collar workers, low income workers, a lot of whom Manhattan relies on to keep running day in day out.

Your posts in this thread have been useless because again, how can someone who cannot afford Manhattan rent, buy real estate in Manhattan, or the greater metropolitan area, where you'll need to bring 2 years of rent to the table to even think about qualifying for a loan, not to talk about the subsequent expenses involved with home ownership?

I'm not interested in any thing else you have to say on this topic, so shut the fukk up and slap your mother for dropping you as a baby.

Just found out my neighbor is moving today because of rent increases.
So many of my native NY'ers are now moving since they can't afford rent. I never really thought about leaving NYC until this year. :francis:

I really wish motherfukkas who don’t live in NYC shut the fukk up. You nikkas don’t know what y’all talking about. It’s been well known that Manhattan has always been high cost of living. It was still doable for some. Now mothafukkas can’t even afford to live in the Bronx because it’s to high. Let alone Brooklyn.

But nah, just love to state island right? Man shut the fukk up…
“Just move right across the bridge to Jersey where the rent is $100 cheaper” :mjlol:

What is this? There definitely ain’t 4 million people living in Manhattan (or any other boro) nor are there 2800 blocks.

They don’t even realize that exact same mentality is what made the rents skyrocket in places like Jersey, Westchester Co, LI and even the other boros

Same shyt happened in damn near every other major metropolitan area in the country. People moved to ATL because it was cheaper now ATL is barely affordable.

There was some small town in one of those western states, either Colorado or one of those states out there where people who worked from home moved there to take advantage of the cheap rents and ended up pricing out the locals.
