This was a nice distraction from the bullshyt going on in the world today. I don't see how people can criticize the premise from any of these battles be it producers or artists nikkas need this shyt right now. I haven't slept more than hours all week mind just racing. Kids haven't left the crib in weeks. Friends and associates getting laid off or sick or worse. These nikkas are doing a public service. I had a good time regardless what side you on. I appreciate the discussion.

Honestly its just a few country west bubba fukk nikkas in here mad cuz they guy lost thats all it is. None of this shyt was a issue BEFORE the battle Now its "oh oh Mannie did his beats all by hisself" well blame swizz and them for making the battle and honestly Storch let him off easy after that tasteless skit about the cocaine and shyt..

I don't really care about the coproducer vs producer shyt, but Scott's shyt just doesn't hit like that down here. Like I really do get the "hits" arguments and just listening to their catalogues, its clear that Scott is way more successful(even tho I heard he fukked up his money). But that shyt doesn't resonate at all with me. Mannie was playing shyt that nikkas have gotten robbed to or stomped out to in my childhood. Storch's biggest bangers were Beyonce and Timberlake and just had me like while nikkas was going crazy over some of that shyt.

I think its very telling why the south broke so hard from that east/west coast pop sound so much. Like I kinda like the tracks when they come on but no nikka around here has ever put on Eve with a serious face and that's where the disconnect is. shyt that probably had yall buzzin had nikkas from the south like and vice versa.




A few flowers for Storch though. As a nikka that's been around the world alot, 85% of DJs abroad aint on current rap like that or don't get clearance to play it at their clubs. That have to play that safe, top 100 type shyt and I would say at least 7-8 tracks out of the 15 or so that they all play were on Storch's playlist last night which is crazy. For a nikka that might be living in Europe and into hip hop, Scott may be the greatest of all time so I understand the praise he gets.
