them wack shyts :scusthov: over The Cool no less?:why:

Naw breh I mean literal good music not G.O.O.D. Music :mjlol:

:russ: at the emphasis of "good music", nice play on words

2 different artists

I'm judging The Cool against what Lupe had already done with Food and Liquor. Food and Liquor was some grade A shyt. Lupe was the best new artist I'd heard in a LONG time when that album dropped. Then the Cool came around and it was like :dahell: cause the beats were wack IMO. He was still spitting but I couldn't get jiggy to them beats, bruh

Far as lyricism goes, obviously Lupe wins but I'm judging both artists on THEIR OWN music and besides, Cudi ain't a lyricist

Lupe lost me when The Cool hit

Cudi was making good music IMO with those 3 albums I named :manny:

I feel you breh, but when you ask yourself why mumbling grumbling wack nikkas took over the game just look to ya boy Cudi :mjpls:

Can't give him a pass for opening a lane for these post 808's & Heartbreak singing but can't really sing ass nikkas y'all hate like Drake :scusthov:
Meanwhile The Cool was giving game to nikkaz like Kendrick, Chance, and Schoolboy Q :wow:

T Pain opened that lane for 808's. shyt was autotuned out and not in the talkbox way like greats like Stevie Wonder or Roger Troutman:francis:

Cudi just has his own style that no one can really duplicate and that's why when they do, they sound horrible. Look at how Cudi sounded on Father Stretch My Hands and then listen to Kanye. Kanye tried Cudi's style and it just didn't work, plus the a$$hole line and Ye just phoned in a weak ass verse. Kanye was the worst part about that song, meanwhile Cudi shined bright and the beat was nice. It should've been Cudi's song.

I just couldn't fukk with the beats on The Cool. Lyrically Lupe was still spitting, but the production was wack to me. I remember being so let down because he had won me as a fan with Food and Liquor and I bought The Cool the day it came out too. :mjcry:
