prime for prime at peak tmac was the much better player than dirk
If only TMac didn’t get hurt, he very well could have been one of the top 2-3 players of the decade.

In terms of skill he was on par with Kobe Bryant.

How is dirk better than karl marlone?
How is Karl Malone better than Dirk?

Cause he couldn't win with Hornacek and Stockton?

Meanwhile Dirk and geriatric Kidd and role players beat 3 superteams in ONE postseason.

Karl Malone isn't carrying his team to shyt. Ever.

Dirk is one of 4 players in NBA history to average 25 and 10 in his playoff career.

Garnett, Malone, and Barkley are not on that list.

And all 3 of those guys had to ring-chase at the end of their careers. And only 1 could actually win it with a superteam.

Eh Manu was a beast though:ehh:

Numbers and stats wise Dirk got it, but as far as talent, Manu just as good

Put Manu somewhere as a #1 option and give him 35 plus mins a game he could've had the individual stats that Dirk had easily

The best 5 players of the 2000s were James, Nowitzki, Duncan, Bryant and Garnett. You could debate the order any way you like but that’s the list.

Iverson and O’Neal being elite in 2000 doesn’t make up for them being awful in 2010. And Stoudemire’s peak didn’t carry the load the way Nowitzki’s did.

2000s rankings includes 2010? :ohhh:
