Didnt Kanye say hes been working on fashion for like 10 years now? We dont know the details of exactly what hes been doing, but im sure its safe to say hes been putting in some work.. His Nike shoe was super popular so he showed something of merit. Maybe he just wants to design for the top of the line brands and then drop his brand.

People in the fashion industry are telling Kanye to stay in his lane. Basically they are saying this "i respect everything you did in music, I respect your celebrity. But fashion...this is our shyt...this is our world. We devoted our lives to this, were the rock stars of the fashion shyt and sorry you can sing your way in."

I get the frustration on both sides. Kanye thinks he can do anything he wants to do, and they are basically saying "no, stay in ya lane, you're just one person..........you've made a significant contribution to culture with music, be happy with that". Kanye wants to be a Leonardo Da vinci type of dude. A multi talented genius who made significant contributions to art, science, engineering, architecture, ect. He could probably do amazing things in fashion but that would fuel his ego even more and wouldn't benefit anyone other than kanyes ambitions. Race plays a part but its probably not as big as he's making it out to be.

Nobody does anything big on their own really.........who knows what everyone could do if they were given the proper chance to shine.

He needs just needs to learn how to be better in interviews. As someone who has spent time behind the scene, A lot of people in the entertainment business are just as arrogant as kanye west, a lot of behind the scenes have that sense of self worth, hell some member of this site feel that way about themselves. Some people get offended by that and others just realize that rising to those heights will put a chip on your shoulder and make you a bit eccentric.
