This might be the best analogy I've heard about this whole thing.
It goes beyond that. That inflated sense of self worth creates unrealistic expectations of the world. I.e. thinking you can walk into a fashion house w/a handful of designs and being deified for just being you.
Kanye is like, the ultimate manifestation of the "everybody gets a trophy" generation. He needs to wake the fukk up
What the fukk is a "inflated sense of self worth?" How much self worth should a person have? Who decides how much is appropriate?
All the c00ns keep saying simplified, almost cartoonish like things like "he walk in Givenchy and demand clothing line" which isn't true

When your sense of self worth works against you, it's probably time to put it in check.

I think its about the mentality some people have. Some people are just stuck in their ways and maybe it threatens them or makes them feel like they ain't doing shyt to see kanye talk about his ambitions or go through with them.

He didn't say "we should know that." He said he was genius. He also said everyone should have the confidence in themselves to be geniuses. He wasn't talking down to "us", like you're trying to imply, but trying to build every up to feel as good about themselves as he does. Even went on a rant about how a person in a $30 jacket shouldn't feel bad because some fool is walking round in $5000 dollar leathers. All that is to say, he specifically talked about classism and how it is divisive and tears at the common man's self worth, which is why tons of c00ns in this thread hate Kanye.
