Dude was on point in the interview, I think Kanye wants the validation moreso than the financial success. It's sad because the initial part of his point (Black men's creativity being boxed in) is on point and admirable, but he wants the elites of that field to show him love above all else. But as I stated in the other thread dude is simply not that talented when it comes to designing, unless he is going to have a creative breakthrough I think that love and admiration he wants from the status quo isn't going to come.Here is a video where Boateng and Armani sit down and discuss fashion, and Armani points out that the status quo/his peers were not feeling him but he followed his vision anyway...
