It's a protected pick, I doubt it's conveyed until 2020 at the earliest and I'd lean more towards 2021. They need to rebuild NOW rather than waiting until later.

Jury's out on if Fizdale is actually a good head coach. The Grizzlies last year underachieved and part of that is on Fiz. There's no way we should've only won one more game with a fairly healthy roster than when we trotted out 28 players in 2016

However the other half is on the players. Everytime change was brought to the table there was pushback by the Core Four. No coach was going to have the same relationship with them the same way Lionel Hollins did because Hollins was the one who built Grit N Grind into a winner and thus had their utmost respect

While Fiz may or may not have been a good coach the main problem is Chris Wallace. His terrible management is the reason we're in this predicament now, and as long as he is absolved of any blame we'll always be stuck on a treadmill. He has GOT to go

looking at that roster the fact you even made the playoffs is a victory in it's self....

Retarded move, coaching wasn't the problem, it's the roster and the complete lack of awareness of it being time to move on from Conley & Gasol.

Fizz did as good of a job with that team as you can expect, they lack talent and their two primary players are aging. They should be the poster child for holding on too long and not knowing when to rebuild.

I thought last year the NBA finally got to place where they realized firing coaches and blaming them for failures was over.

See, I had no clue that he butt heads with any of his previous coaches. If Cousins accidentally coughs on a coach, it's getting reported nationally.

He tried to pull that funny Hollins, but Lionel was too OG for him.

Joerger tried to implement a new offense. Marc came into the season out of shape, and this was after making the WCF. He'd purposely hold the ball when he got one of the 5 boards a game he'd get, just so they can play slow. He almost got fired because after like 12 games, so he changed the offense again.

Fizz made him captain, gave him the keys to the offense along with Mike. All Fizz asked was that he step into the leadership role, and Marc straight up said he doesn't want to. Fizdale would get on him. Hold him accountable. He put up zero shots in 4th of the elimination game, never threw him under the bus. The offense is meant to run and play fast and athletic, couldn't do it because of Ga-slow. He's the only reason they're last in pace. And he still bytches and moans.

This guy is a cancer and a coach killer. A Euro Dwight Howard. I can't wait til he's off the team. He plays when he feels like it.

Rick Carlisle is a garbage coach. Jason Kidd basically coached that team from the floor. He did nothing before the ring and he’s done absolutely nothing since. One of the most overrated coaches in the league.
