Yeah this. I don't even know why he deals with the other candidates. He tried to pivot to the general after Super Tuesday but the other candidates were able to draw him back in. He has a good message.
- self funding
- immigration reform/"the wall"/tariffs to help American blue color workers
- Moderate on social issues/Planned Parenthood
- appoint the smartest people instead of politicians to key negotiating/cabinet roles
- end the big business oriented establishment grip on the party
If he stuck to it the other candidates would never have a chance to catch up. It's when he stoops down to their level when he looks vulnerable.
Watching his speech right now he seems to at least not be so bombastic.
