I don't like abortion being banned either but astronomical levels of abortion in the American Black community is not healthy.
Abortion is a symptom, not the cause, black community in America has historically been stricken with poverty and oppression. The cause was not dealt with, so another symptom will pop up and folks aren’t gonna like it…..

You can get an amnio at 8 weeks.

I don’t see what the problem is. 🤷🏿‍♀️

Women who commit paternity fraud are too afraid to admit they are hoes. It’s time to put a stop to that and nothing exposes a hoe like money being on the line.

My sense is a lot of simps don’t really wanna know on some Mario Winans.
This wasn't thought through...

That's partly true but the other part people don't want to acknowledge is that Liberal cacs have pushed abortion as a remedy to the ills of the community.

We see lower abortion rates in more impoverished Black parts of the world like the Caribbean.

Reality Neither one of these muthafukkin wings of this dead ass bird is for the people. You have one side(Liberals) pushing Gender confusion and you have Conservatives stripping basic human rights within every marking day.. Either this country is due for a reset/overhaul or the current in power in the Democrat/GOP need to die the fukk off fast so we can have a goverment that works FOR THE PEOPLE

As a Haitian woman born and raised in Haiti, all I can do is laugh at that. Come on now……

Now, that was an oversight on my end, and you are correct! This will affect ladies who are in relationships or casual situations as well. I didn’t really think about them being the women who will be attacked since I was referring to the posters’ comments about mistresses/side chicks.

People will definitely have sex. Of course.

I do think there are a lot of people who get reckless and don’t think about all of the consequences or potential outcomes of our actions.

Things happen, but a lot of things wouldn’t happen if people were more serious about BC and condoms, and a bit more careful about who they sleep with.
There are people moving WILD out here (which I wouldn’t say is a good thing), but because they are careful they avoid trouble (unexpected pregnancies, etc).

And the truth is there are chicks who are ok playing games that they ultimately won’t win.

I don’t like the overturning of Roe and what will come down the pipeline because of it, but separate from that- I like this move. There are a lot of women who actually need financial assistance from a partner/ex partner who would otherwise shirk his responsibilities. And there are some who might think twice about who they are engaging with.

Sure, people could be making better decisions and being more serious about BC and condoms. But you don’t remove choice and safety from everyone just because you disagree with how some might be moving. A disagreement that’s formed purely from your own set of values and morals, that not everyone needs to share. And there’s a certain set of religious fanatics who believe even contraception is a form of abortion. So soon even that may no longer be federally protected, if we use the opinion written by Clarence Thomas as an indicator.

And there’s already child support laws, so I don’t think this is about providing financial assistance. It‘s about appeasing the craziness of their religious nut voting base. I don’t see where any of this ends well.

Edit: when I say “you” I’m saying in general. Not directed at you specifically.

Sex education is important, but schools are defunded by Republicans, and Republicans hate sex education and want it out of schools. :yeshrug: Can't win with these idiots because nothing they do is based in reason.

:laff: :laff: :laff: Raw and regret indeed.
This Roe v Wade saga ain’t through with us yet.
I guess it’s accountability for all.:mjlol:They gon force chicks to have kids they don’t want AND force dudes to pay for babies they don’t want. And ensure the masses are payed less and are ill equipped to care for these kids, and put you in jail if you aren’t wealthy enough to circumvent the system. And they coming for contraception too.

Basically if you ain’t rich, don’t have sex.:umad:

Nope. That sounds too logical. Back when some dudes were celebrating over Roe v Wade holding “women accountable” I used to suggest that proactively establishing positive, informed sex culture through relationship training and sex education was a better solution than criminalizing unintended pregnancies. But NOPE. Just idiocy.:mjlol:

The cynical approach, if we wanted to pretend Republicans are big brained, would be that these policies would further work towards establishing a continued supply of worker level people, these people less likely to have the time or energy to pay attention to politics, less likely to consider the state of inequality, more likely to fall towards zealotry, thus more likely to favor anything that benefits the Republican party either through direct participation or indirect through alienation. I mean, that's what I would do if I was heading some Republican think tank and just wanted to fukk over the working class and keep them in place. These restrictions on abortions, contraceptives, education... I don't use the term, because I think it silly at times, but assuming the Republicans have more agency than we typically credit them with, this direction would truly make them evil people.
