I dont understand your argument. Those who wanted to go to Liberia went.
That´s the arguement those who wanted to go went. I guess you can say repats are extreme Pro Black Afro Pessimists. I guess Dr. Claude Anderson is still good with FBA´s he said that Black Americans were on track to be a permanent underclass. Below recent immigrants If you really believe that why stay if you don´t have to? If you think things are getting better and will continue to do so stay but then you´re kinda undercutting the case for reparations not completely but if Black Americans are almost at parity with white americans why do you need reparations that will hurt the economy?

You literally just get on here saying any nonsense, rambling with no facts or history. You don’t even know where your family is from.
Alright if I don´t know what I´m talking about why engage me? Everyone knows where I stand.

One other thing why make an enemy for no reason especially one that you can´t defeat?

I´m a Pan Africanist. I have no inherent problem with an FBA supporter as long as they´re not down talking Black People generally and I hate that I usually go to Anti Black talking points to prove my point and I do this because I know I´m talking to trolls so logic doesn´t work as well as adhomiem attacks.

I mean dudes make thread after thread can´t yáll just let nikkas have their opinion?

I was laughing at you :mjlol:
See everything is a joke to yáll nikkas so If I said that if a Jamaican Immigrant came through and became the most influential Black Man in america what does that say about Black Americans That would be me laughing at you.

Another West Indian Man put a Million or More Black People on the National Mall like 70 years later no one has gotten that mass of Black americans out in the street since.

@Ish Gibor lay off the AI.

You found nothing alarming when it said an achievement of Garvey's was "PROMOTING buy Black"

and that was during segregation/Jim Crow when most Black people had no other choice but to buy Black.
GTP was the most objective source for this. Unbiased and not subjective to a particular person.

GTP gave a summary of his achievements, it’s not going to leave out a particular part, because you or I don’t like it.

THE SECRET OF SELLING THE NEGRO (1954)

Point being was, he has done 1000x more things for Black society than Tari… I mean Marcus.

But since you like things more organic, instead of AI…

IMMIGRANT TETHERS
Yep. I heard he changed his name to avoid a sex offender charge, off of a technicality.
the man told on himself in that Mack Lessons book about scooping them up when they are in middle school

Tariq is lucky that his Youtube ops haven't picked this up. especially the bigger known ones

edit: posted above

It is simple. Many (Black American) Pan Africanist hate being Black American. So any negative thing said about Black Americans is ignored at best or agreed with at worst. I see it kind of being similar to how some people align with an ideology over who they are, like Black LGBTQ+ align with the ideology of their sexual freedom over their ethnic empowerment. Pan Africanist align with the ideology of them being connected to Africa as some mythological construct instead of their Black American ethnicity.

In most cases, it is born out of an ignorance of what our ancestors actually accomplished, so they want to hitch their wagon to something they feel has greater worth. It is why our people need to be focused on telling our own history, because we have too many of us who are actually ignorant of it and are sold psuedo intellectualism in its place.

Thats why they all talk down to us. In pseudo-posh, pompous tones

When we sent the women to schools and they came back and still saw us toiling the fields they felt we were bestial. Thats how alot of people still feel about us.

But it's cool when they do our stuff, ghetto when we do it.

I'm on my Summn Cheaux. I play my jazz and blues, gospel. Do my art, work on my projects and just be my BA self. Some nikkas let that tradition and 'culture' shyt get to them. But one of the biggest "Traditional" cultures consistently puts out media about how their tradition is enslaving them. It's also funny how people laugh at and tell us to get over people appropriating and misusing our shyt, but let your "cultureless" ass look at a shrine the wrong way or get impatient about some weird behavior.

Promoting something commonly understood and acted upon is not worthy of being a listable achievement unless your goal was to state the obvious for what was already happening at that specific point in time.

I wouldn't list "promoted learning addition & subtraction to 1st graders" on my resume when applying to labs as achievements. 1st graders would already know how to perform those mathematical operations or would be in the process of doing so.

That's what you didn't understand, and sadly, still don't understand. Then you post some excerpt from Tariq's book as if that matters to me.

This is utter nonsense.

I forgot what book I read, but it talked about the limited opportunites both Black men and women had during Jim Crow. For Black men, opportunity came in the form of manufacturing and factory work as jobs up north were available to them and allowed them, even if school dropouts, to earn a living as a breadwinner for their families, which they were. the only opportunities for Black women at the time was either be a domestic or go to school, the latter being the main choice which still brought them little and lesser than what Black men were making. Whose fault is it that manufacturing jobs left and we never adjusted while Black women going to school still worked out for them?
Again.....your shyt makes zero sense. women were coming back from school and making less than Black men up until manufacturing jobs went overseas in the 70s and 80s.
A lot of shyt many of you post are off the cuff feelings, not rooted in education and economics.

and this is one of the main issues that we have with people who are Pan African as yourself because somehow or someway y’all spun the narrative that we FBA are attacking melanated immigrants and we started this shyt

When the actual truth is - the complete opposite

I was waiting on someone to post this. Thank you.

Tariq is a Grifter, Garvey was a grifter, Umar is a Grifter. Just because you dislike one, does not make the other more legitimate. Just because someone comes forward, speaks about pro-Blackness, does not mean they are really pro-Black. If you read much of what Garvey said, you would see just how much he hated Black Americans. You would see how he was trying to get the KKK and other groups like it to support him, so that he could convince Black Americans to leave the country our ancestors helped build.

What is more amazing is that he came into the country with a similar mindset of a lot of foreign Black people who arrived later on, assuming Black Americans had nothing to do with the greatness of the country. Last, he scammed true believers out of their money, that they never saw again. Though, just like people are warned about Tariq and Umar these days, they were warned about Garvey back then by upstanding Black leaders who actually cared about the Black community.

I just wish my people would learn to look beyond the nice sounding rhetoric and actually pay attention to the actions. If they do not align, judge them by their actions not their statements. If we did that more, it would be a lot harder for those claiming to be pro-Black and care about the community to scam our people out of donations.
How is Tariq a grifter? Unlike those two he actually produces the projects/products. You putting him in that category is disingenuous. You sound like one of the salty tethers doing that.
