Margot Robbie's "Birds Of Prey" (DC) Official Thread

Mary Elizabeth Winstead and Rosie Perez were miscast in this movie. Every time they were on screen it was cringefest of bad acting.

It's a 5/10, maybe a 5,5

So I'm seeing a lot of things on twitter about white men being turned off to Birds of Prey because it's a bunch of women killing white males

I didn't think this would have one of those kinds of backlashes but apparently it does

Naw...this wasn't as polarized as the Ghostbusters 2016 reboot.

There wasn't any backlash when Mila Jojovich or Kate Beckingsdale was beating dudes up in Resident Evil and Underworld and this film ranks along the lines of that genre....

It wasn't the female leads, but the jump cutting forward and backward is what made this film bad. It is lazy storytelling.....

Action was straight, Black Mask was wasted, but overall give it a C+. Margot also didn't play HQ the same way she did in SS. Her accent dropped completely.

Margot was so sexy in some of her other roles, but she doesn't do it for as HQ.

Movie was ok. Fight choreography wasn't that good imo.

Only person I really loved in this was the crossbow killer.

It wasn't as blatant as that, but in that HQ has become the feminist mascot du jour, and this looks like a cash in on that as opposed to just a good film that had business being made. They thought all the Halloween costumes and cosplaying meant they could slap all these broads on the screen and it would pop off no problem.

WB is always schizophrenic about how they let Batman and characters out.

They used to be protective of Superman until Returns flopped.

They weren’t going to let HQ reference any major Batman villain not already established by Suicide Squad.

It would have been cool quickly seeing her rejected for housing by Riddler or Freeze before she ended up at the Asian restaurant.

Just saw itIt was coolHuntress was definitely a standout Ewan was having a blast with this roleWhen he started crying had me rolling Bruh has his own face on his robes the arrogance Wish there was more Canary and I gotta say there was a severe lack and need for Batman or some member of the Bat family. Batwoman or Batgirl should've at least been involved somehow no way all this shyt is popping off in Gotham and Bruce not be aware or send someone to check it out. Harley and the rest of the Birds of prey had dope chemistry though and the fight choreography was Story was but I was entertained soZasz was wack Not my crazy psycho
