Basically his gimmick is that he is Maria's husband.He already knows what the deal is.
I was critical of the gimmick but I can see why he bypassed NXT now. He also doesn't have to worry about having a road buddy while driving cause he has Maria and whoever she's still cool with.

I might be the only Mike Kanellis fan in this forum. He did a lot of good work in TNA and got reactions out of the tourists watching at Universal. He's basically a discount version of Miz, and that's not a bad thing at all.
