She would be a great advisor/educator on the idea of reparations, but she isn't going to win the nominations purely on a comprehensive understanding on what reparations were and should be today.

Good for her for her in depth understanding I got no beef with that. But it is going to take more to have a chance to win the Democratic nomination and a hell of a lot more to beat Trump

Well, so if they're using it as a trampoline does that mean we outright ignore candidates that suggest it, if we want reparations we don't have much of a choice outside of voting for the person advocating for it the most, in the most logical way

Everyone uses certain issues to trampoline their way into office, look at how Trump did it, and he still hasn't fulfilled his promise. That chance just comes with the territory imo
