For those going to the rings, how are you balancing team success vs individual performace? We all know there are QBs with rings that are clearly not better than Marino. Roethlisberger, E. Manning, Brad Johnson, Dilfer, Rypien, Hostetler, etc.
How do you balance 49ers' success vs Montana's performance? Like NYC Rebel said, Montana had some bad playoff games. But because his teams were better, they won. Even with his great performances, how much do you attribute to the far & away best WR of all time, the 2nd most versitile RB of all time, maybe the greatest passing scheme of all time, and superior defense?
And Marino's playoff numbers are better than Elway's. Something to be said about having a 1,750 & 2,000 yard rusher.
