This is precisely why I have no problem with players and coaches moving in their own best interests.

These schools will openly court another coach while the current coach is still under contract and hasn’t even been fired, but when players and coaches want to leave a lot of talking heads and prognosticators say they need to do it the “right way” and all that shyt.

Brian Kelly just got shytted on for not leaving Notre Dame the “right way.”

A lot of these schools, alumni, and boosters are arrogant as hell as it relates to that. Not many people are turning down a raise worth millions and a better opportunity to have more success. That’s not to mention other people that leave for other reasons like getting closer to home, being closer to loved ones, etc.

shyt at WORST, MC is Kirby Smart type of coach and im sure Miami fans would take that in a heartbeat. Stack enough talent and things will eventually work itself out

^^^^^^^
This is the recipe.

It’s not even that a UM coach has to win the ACC year 1 or anything to stack the talent needed for a ship. He just has to be competent and enough of the local talent will stay home to build upon. Even with losing some high end guys to the Bama/UGA/Ohio State etc.

it’s not a coincidence that the 2 times UM has been even above average they’ve pulled in borderline Top 10 classes built around Elite SFL recruits.

Eh, sorry but Mario is not known for his ability to coach. You have to do that to win big.

You have to know the right buttons to push.

But good for Miami to get some new energy.
