Is it normal that this is my most hyped game now.

Years ago there'd always be a MSG, GTA, FF game coming out, it seems all the companies are releasing one AAA blockbuster every two years or so now, unless you count copy paste FPS remakes. Oh well good for Nintendo, hopefully this brings in some unit sales, I know that 4p split screen option will be running wild on my TV

Typical Nintendo. Already shat on the online multiplayer experience. I knew all this was too good to be true.

even though it would be great to have it at least an option you gotta see why they didnt i know it's some OG's like us that take mario kart serious but u gotta remember it's really catered to kids you can't have grown ups talkin shyt online to children or each when there's prob kids playing too

I wish they would put more emphasis on the actual driving mechanics like the old school SNES Mario Kart did (the GOAT version) and put less emphasis on the battling. Too much battling makes the outcome way too random. Its still a driving game, so the best driver should be the winner.

Online of this game is going to be SICK! I used to love playing Mario Kart 7 online.

Yeah, I'm sure they will let you use any of the Wii control schemes

And the 200 bundle you want costs less than the price of a normal Wii. There's no way the price is going that low any time soon unless you cop a used system.

So for online will they allow u to play 4 players online from the same connection/house? on the wii you could have 2 people online from the same house

I don't know. On the Mario Kart website the "Online Play" button is not clickable so I guess they haven't announced if multiple people from the same system can play online.
