Like the advanced statistics reflect, Mariota displayed deep ball and intermediate accuracy issues at his pro day. His proficiency against the bliz is good but that shouldn't take precedence over the fact he has poor footwork and mediocre arm strength outside the numbers:



In the above "highlight video", some of Mariota's notable throws are too slow and flighty. They will get picked off in the NFL. The guy can't even master footwork well enough to show out at his pro day, let alone in the NFL. Mariota is

the Oregon offense isnt predicated on throwing the deep ball all that often...I wont say I thought he would be this impressive out the gate but I also didnt understand people like you and alot of the so called experts saying there is no way he will be good in a pro style offense..
