Mariota has played 1 more game than Winston. Winston only has 2 less tds and only like 75 less passing yards in one less game of play than Mariota.

Nah breh. He struggled the first four weeks of the season. Had one of the worst Total QBR's in the league.

He's been great since then though.

You look at the teams he's played over that stretch though.
Mia/Cleveland/ Indy/Jax/SD/Green Bay ....some trash defenses

But he's dominating...so you gotta give him his props. Yea he's not really using his legs either.

Which may be smart in the long run. He won't wear down as he gets older.

So far both are playing really well for 2nd year QBs.

I expected Winston to be good. Didn't expect Mariota to be this good this soon.

Y'all acting like Kendall Wright isn't Mariota's best wide receiver. The teams they have been playing lately are trash, but they're putting crazy amount of points every week. He still has a lot to work on. Overthrows, stop fumbling, etc. But he's getting there. I was really worried.earlier in the.season, but he's progressing.

I'm sure those same posters were taking it easy on Mariota when his line was awful last year.



The line is good, but one of those "book ends" is still a pretty raw rookie, and the line isn't perfect up the middle. Plus Mariota's receivers are terrible.

Mariota's first two games weren't bad - it was weeks 3/4 that were really bad. He stood well against an elite Vikings D until a couple late errors.

Miami, San Diego, and Jax all have fine passing defenses...the other three in you list are trash.
