3. Was a secret Muslim who had taken some oath to Allah
4. Was a secret Communist / Manchurian Candidate designed to destroy America from within
5. Was a terrorist sympathizer
6. Had coke-filled sex in a limo with a gay prostitute


I'm sure there were more. It was mostly coming from "regular people" but by 2010 those regular people were already joining the Tea Party and contesting congressional seats.
