Wow! Imagine a NBA franchise being handed down to you from your father. Even if you don't give two sh*ts about basketball or sports in general, you don't have to be a hands on Mark Cuban or Jerry Jones type, just hire a guy that'll do everything for you (president of basketball operations) and you kick back and chill. I believe the Angels owner Arte Moreno is going through the same thing as his kids don't want anything to do with the team. As a sports fan, it's unreal to even fathom this sort of thinking :why:
that's become a thing. Part of why A-Rod's even in position to buy a pro basketball team at a discount is because the current owner's family wants nothing to do with the team.

If you're a child and you're living your life, going from that to being an owner and having to delegate all these jobs is a lot. Also, not many people who own teams make that their only source of income or their primary source of income.

Cuban also acknowledged in an interview with The Stein Line that he does not have the level of control over basketball operations that he initially anticipated when the sale agreement was struck but says he talks to Mavericks general manager Nico Harrison "all the time" and has accepted the role he has. Dumont is the Mavericks' official governor, according to the league's preferred terminology, and operates as day-to-day owner

He actually thought he was still gonna have operational say so after selling the majority of the team??? I know Cuban can't possibly be that stupid.

Zionist breh, Zionist.

The majority of Trumps cabinet picks have been made by her so far. They all have one thing in common - Pro Israel.

She’s one of the worst people on the planet.

Agreed

She's a staunch supporter of growing those illegal settlements in the west bank. A true oppressor

Of course not.

He’s just saying this because the idea that he would retain some influence was never real. It’s just something they threw out there to make the decision easier for fans to digest/accept.

I still think he was forced to sell when he got caught tanking a second time. The league brushed it aside and then boom he sold the team out of the blue. Which makes sense because he was a repeat offender getting caught tanking and the league is trying to get gambling money. You can’t order a team to tank as an owner, that is the equivalent of point shaving. The league carried a lot of water to avoid that being a bigger scandal, but what if he did that shyt again? So I think they forced him to sell.

With that said I know that motherfukker wouldn’t have traded Luka for AD and the fact he hasn’t come out in support of the trade speaks volumes.

I’m actually surprised Kyrie is still on the team. He actively supports Palestine. I hope the Mavs get blown up even more knowing who owns the team now.
