He has actually. LOL@people thinking he’s only interviewing comedians because of Katt Williams on Club Shay Shay. Apparently, the interview Willie did with Katt Williams was recorded before Shannon’s.

I saw Mark curry live a year ago on the Mike Epps tour with like 4 other young comedians... he was the least funny of all of em..
DC young fly killed it.
Even the youtube nikka country wanyne got more laughs than mark curry.. Mark Currys jokes came off like just an angry old man talking shyt. But it wasn't funny
I skimmed some of this interview, him saying "I don't do buffoonert"... nikka stop
... his whole rise to fame in the 90s was "jumping around hollering" on stage. nikka you weren't "above" in living color.

1. Mark Curry was average at best as a comedian.. seen him decades ago.. not bad not great just ummm average
2. However business wise, and helping other comedians with jokes and setting up they routine behind the scenes, he’s great

Not you, but someone else said he is doing this to chase views. I’m just saying he’s been interviewing comedians and others way before the Katt Williams interview. Not only that, isn’t that the point to “chase views?” Lol

Hangin with Mr Cooper was one of my favorite shows when I was a kid
In Living Color and Hangin With Mr Cooper lasted the same amount of seasons (5 each) with Mark Curry being the LEAD on a Friday night Primetime slot on what was at the time one of the biggest networks for sitcoms. There was no opportunities he could have gotten on In Living Color that would have been bigger than having his OWN show unless you and Curry himself said that he was his own boss on Mr Cooper whereas he would have been working FOR the Wayans on Living Color. There is absolutely a no-brainer that given the opportunity you always choose to work for yourself rather work for someone else
