I know right. And with Mark Dacascos and Mikey Rourke no less. Proud of her. Been a fan of hers on IG since the pandemic. Hope she shows out in it. I know she was a background widow in Black Widow, but this first time she's front and center. Guess that performance with Meg the Stallion got her even more recognition. Then again, this liable to have been produced before that tho.
It might be the illest shyt on Earth if a young Black woman is a breakout action star. Supporting on principle.

I don't think she was outright a professional stuntwoman, but she got her recognition by doing a bunch of self-made, weapon katas on Instagram for years, going by the name 'The Samurider'. She was a background assassin in the Black Widow movie, but didn't have any speaking parts and barely got to show her stuff in that. Before this, the most notable thing she got was likely the sword performance she did with Meg the Stallion during one of her live shows or I think even possibly a music awards peformance. This was very recently, like a few months ago, at the most.

Just watched this and it's pretty good for a cheesy low budget action movie. bad-to-mid acting, plot full of holes, but she looked great and the action was on point.
There’s a scene where she pulls an AFRO PICK out of her hair and kills a guy by throwing it at him like a ninja star.
