15 is nutty tho. I’m thinking more of like 5-6.. sort of like Dom’s trajectory. Dom’s in year 6 right now.. each year he slowly creeps up the card and establishes himself as a fan favorite. He’s been nowhere near a world champion but he’s gonna have insane longevity because he’s built that fanbase brick by brick and we’ve been with him through the entire journey. it’ll benefit him in the long run.
this is what i was thinking 5-6

Everyone’s journey is relative but it took AJ Styles 17 years to get to WWE lol

I think the disconnect is that people are taking it as him saying Jevon should be a low level jobber for 15 years which isn’t necessarily the case. You can be all over tv and a major part of the show without being the main nikka..

Perfect example is Jeff Hardy.. he was one of the most popular wrestlers in WWE from like 2000 on, and he didn’t win his first WWE title til what, 09 or some shyt?

I think if Jeff didn't keep fukking up he definitely would have had the title in 2002-2003. Dude was popular as hell

Roman, Seth, HHH, Orton, Bautista, Charlotte, ect. didn't toil in the midcard for over a decade before they ended up in the main event and holding their first titles. Whether or not they "were ready" is and was irrelevant. When they want you in the main event, they put you there and don't care about all the things they claim to have concerns about with black male talent.

Mark is looking at it from his perspective as someone Vince never saw as a main event talent until he needed a new monster & was finally open to giving Henry some flowers. They had you in a sexual relationship with a geriatric who gave birth to a hand, bro.

This company and the fanbase will come up with multiple reasons as to why Evans never got that run. Like every other "promising" black talent. Meanwhile, mediocre Caucasians will get the push and a chance to "show what they can do." Same company that justified giving Jack Swagger a run while having every excuse as to why Shelton Benjamin just wasn't feasible.

Evans will either not be over enough, or it won't be the "right time." History has proven that he's more likely to be Kofi's replacement than he is to be going over Breaker or any Samoans in a main event program.

Mark Henry: Je'von will be the 1 in 5 years alright, that's why I said 15 years.

So according to Mark Henry, Montez Ford is right on schedule :pachaha:

But a cac like Bron Breakker don't gotta wait. He must "wrestle the right way" a real lunch pail type of grappler

Ya’ll gotta stop comparing everyone to Breakker lol

A guy like Oba Femi is gonna make it to the main event quicker than a guy like Rey Fenix every time, and we know the reason why.

I've noticed a pattern with some older people. They always seem to think you have time. Trust me, you do not. Life doesn't work that way. Plenty of people are in the graveyard or injured now who thought they had time.

You never know what will happen.

Ask Tyson Kidd, Jesse Sorenson, Chris Bey, etc.

Ask the families of Owen Hart, Bray Wyatt, Eddie Guerrero, etc.

Life doesn't care about your schedule.
