I actually dont think chip is racist as well...uh I mean he can be obviously but his moves dont really smell like racist moves. racist moves from someone like chip would be way more subtle imo.
his moves are the moves of a power-hungry coach who got GM powers and went wild according to his philosophy. he's basically running the ship as he thinks fit and he knows he'll either sink or swim, and hes betting on himself. and he has some unorthodox opinions of players' values
either hes a genius or a moron, and theres not much in between; we'll find out soon.
I think players and media are so utterly confused by these moves, the only plausible explanation they can find, is that hes a racist fukk, but I dont even know how plausible that is. eagles still have way more blacks than say, pats. there isnt any real pattern. plus would chip really sabotage his team just to be racist ? he knows, that he will be fired with a boot up his ass if eagles bomb.
