What evidence are you looking for? I agree with you about comfort level, but what example are you looking for?
You can't really prove that someone's racist nowadays without flat out having a video of them doing some racist shyt. But they tend to give off a certain vibe that's usually picked up by only minorities, so trying to convince whites of this is a waste of time more often than not.
