Feel like we’ve just hit the ceiling with social media apps. The fact that forums are still thriving is kind of proof of that.

People thought something would initially come along and replace twitter, FB, IG because everything before that got replaced but those apps have been around for over twice as long as everything that proceeded it already. They are just a huge part of what the internet is now.

Clubhouse got super popular for like 5 minutes, same with Snapchat, now everyone just uses spaces on IG/Twitter.


I feel like you would need something that would usurp what we think of as social media apps in general for them to go away.
