Well, I can't "speak" specifically for Canadian Laws as I was of course discussing U.S legalities.

Unless you have some actual credible data to prove your statement, this is just bullshyt conjecture which does nothing to validate your premise on the beneficial aspects as to why men should get married..

:dwillhuh: most people on this site are younger. The percentage of home owners under 35 is less than 40%. Unless you believe the 8 cert crowd is pushing that number over average levels?

Men and women who want to raise a family should get married. Men and women who just want boyfriends and girlfriends and don't want a family which is fine....should not get married. I still question why black folk have this aversion to marriage and raising children in 2 parent households.

Keep thinking marriage = financial ruin. It doesn't and there are many other opportunities that can't be measured as well. Focus on failure and you will always limit yourself. It's the people who look at both sides of the coin who win in the end. If marriage just isn't for you, cool. I got no problem. I'm happy to hear that. But when folk state their reasons why, I'm usually :why: cuz they're usually silly.

All the attributes you mentioned above are important in a woman/partner, regardless whether you are going to get married or not. However sex is also an integral part of a successful, long lasting relationship so the traits of the vagina do have to be considered as well!

:jawalrus::yeshrug:

They do. But they should not be the determining factors and the usually are. If you marrying or investing in strictly p*ssy longterm then you lost.

Making statements are one thing, having credible facts to back them up are another

The percentage of home owners under 35 is less than 40%

So what? Property is only one form of tangible assets. Furthermore, only a small minority of people actually truly "own" a home outright to where they have completely paid it off, so for all intents & purposes, for the majority of Americans I am discussing aren't truly legitimate "home owners" but essentially renters with a option for ownership. And just because someone may currently not have any assets. doesn't mean that they won't ever have them in the future.

Men and women who want to raise a family should get married.

You keep skirting my original question which it's clear you don't have a logical answer for. What's the difference in 2 people raising a family married vs not 2 people not being married?

Keep thinking marriage = financial ruin

The original proposition & origins of marriage was based on business principles which it still is today. To think otherwise is nothing but foolish, not to mention comical.

What is the difference? Marriage is a commitment, playing house and baby mama/daddy isn't. You're also losing money (taxes, benefits, insurance, etc).

It's actually pretty weird that you have dudes being against marriage, calling it a piece of paper, and then wondering why the black family unit is in shambles.

They're completely retarded. Then they talk about factual data and there have been many studies that show that kids of wed parents have greater benefits and lead better lives.

- "Black children are significantly less likely than other children to be living with two married parents. In 2006, 35 percent of black children were living with two parents, compared with 84 percent of Asian children, 76 percent of non-Hispanic white children, and 66 percent of Hispanic children." – Child Trends DataBank, 2007.

But let nikkaz cling to their silly parenting ideals and fall further behind.
