I have a question for all the married/ Committed guys, how do you keep your powder dry? I mean how do you stay on point with your mouth when you already have it in the bag?
And also how do you avoid temptation?
I love my girl we been together for more than a year but :ohlawd: when I see a pretty young thang I feel weak, like if I could hit and knew she wouldn't find out :shaq:

I look at it this way, me and my wife are a team. Any energy, effort, attention, money, or time I'd spend on some sidepiece is that much and more that I'm taking away from my wife and our future.

And I'd like to think we have a very bright future together, so who am I to fukk that up? Plus I've done my single thing (actually felt disgusted with myself after a while), so I don't have any temptations left in me. Life is good, so I'd be stupid to fukk it up.

My wife makes sure to make a nikka lunch in the morning, and keeps it tight at home. It's the little things, like sometimes I'll iron my clothes at night for the next morning. Yesterday I took them out extra early since I was going to the gym. I came back from the gym thinking "man, I'm too tired to iron now", went upstairs, and she had already ironed them for me. Little things like that add up to me giving the :heh: face to any female that tries to bust up my happy home.

Bruhs, I will be married 9 years as of tomorrow.

Headaches given by 1 woman> Headaches given by multiple women. Too many different issues to deal with, learning a new chick, background, etc. I'm good with all that.

I mean.....I feel y'all.....

but it took 3-4 months for this thread???

rly???

Where are the: Married folks, how did you propose to your significant other thread???
Married folks, how do you blah blah blah threads???

Either way, y'all really can't be mad at the lack of appreciation for the married side when y'all stay silent on EVERYTHING.

Use the search toolbar next time. Married threads have already been made. Sorry if you missed them :manny:

Dudes today looking for the biggest booty on the block or the cutest thing to wife up. Dudes don't look at what the girl has on her inside before they marry.

Nah, neggas wanna wife the Nicki Minaj type that would sit home all day full of make-up and cry outloud that only fools get married :bryan:

I tell dudes who looking to get married or are nervous about marriage that as long as the bills are taken care of, everything will be fine. Sure there will be times y'all don't see eye to eye, but that's a given. Y'all two love each other and work together and learn the value of went to and when NOT to communicate, you should live happily ever after.

dude you know we're all about friction around here

controversial threads are the only threads that pop

y'all don't think there are actually teenagers here looking for another perspective??? how does that make since

you can go to higher learning and find ppl deciding between atheism/theism

nobody believes y'all, just like nobody believes the posters that get p*ssy 100% of the time they step out the house, because all you talk about are the good times

its not until y'all get divorced that you're like "well she was pregnant at the time"....nikkas just want to see some actual humility and character behind your situations

Divorce is part of life just like death is part of life. Play your cards right and stay positive in life, your marriage, your work, and your social interactions. Stop thinking about the negative because the mind poisons the body if you allow it to.

Ever wonder how these starving Africans live 70-100 years on less than 5$/ day with a family of 2-5 to take care of ? They stay positive and appreciate life. I love my wife and we work as a team. I leave the thought of divorce to those going to it now for the better of their life or future. I love and adore my wife for the better of my life, my health, my finance, and my sanity.

Hope this helps

My dad told me once if you ever had any friction with someone you're in a relationship with, you two are not close enough. Friction comes from the difference of differences too close to each other. When you know the differences, then you two can merge.
