I remember the time I had emergency testicular torsion surgery; wifey came with me to the Urgent Care ER. I was thinking it was something I would go in for and then get some meds and go home. They did an x ray, found I had testicular torsion, and was like, "we gotta get you in surgery ASAP". We had brought the kids with us, so she had to take them home, get them to my mother's house. I didn't see her again until after I woke up from the surgery. She had gotten them squared away, called my boss and told him what I was going through, promised to update him of my condition, then made sure to keep my meds on deck. They had a nikka on Percocet, and it would knock me out cold. One time I fell asleep at the table, and she got me a pillow and put it under my head.

I had a toothache that lasted a few days. My wife woke up at 4 AM to go to Walgreens by herself to buy me some Orajel and some Advil. SHe got me some Advil PM too cuz I couldn't sleep. Then she cooked some soft food and went with me to get my root canal. She was rubbing my hand and stayed in the room with me all throughout the process. The day of the root canal, she was ready 1 hr prior while I was chilling on the Xbox playing Modern Warfare 3 with my dudes (Blazo, Brawla, Brooklyn and em...). She kept on checking, asking me if I m okay the few days after. Heck, she filled my prescriptions too.

Her parents love me because I'm good to their daughter and their grandchildren.

We also get along great because they may be the 2 nicest people I've ever met. It's really easy to get along with nice people.

They've been together for 50+ yrs, thru thick and thin, thru tragedy and triumph.

That's how I know for sure, my wife comes from good stock. Also helps that my wife has proven herself for almost 11 yrs.

My mother in-law hates me but she pretty much hates everyone so I don't take it personally.

The rest of her fam is cool.

She gets along with my peeps just fine, other than my brother, who she can't stand because he used to treat his ex-wife bad. Notice I said ex.

honestly i was cool with her mom's but due to her being so disrespectful to me and her

im honestly like fukk her i will keep it civil say hi and stuff but otherwise i dont say shyt to her i dont go see her or anything else like that nor do i stop the kids from seeing her it wouldn't be fair due to my beef why should they suffer so kids see her and stuff

I'm going over there tomorrow. My girl's fam loves me off...they think I'm great...but I also am a respectful dude. If I go to dinner at their house or whatever, I'll bring something. If I eat there, her moms will pack me food to take home (can't tell my moms abotu that though). I fit right in.

I think it makes things so much easier when you all get along.
