I distinctly remember a colleague who would look for any excuse to work longer hours so he didn’t have to go home.

His wife would call his cellphone and then his office line and he would be like “what in god’s name does this woman want? “. He would then tell his assistant to tell her he was tied up all afternoon.

I work with a couple dudes that will show up 30-40mins early, work past retirement. These are all older guys with grown kids. If my home life was that bad I'd get a divorce in a heartbeat.

Spend money and get divorced for what? All that drama for what benefits?

I know kids can be LOAD.....but it seems like it's moreso the wives that cause these issues rather than the kids

Idk for me it was a combination of all of it. Go from a tight work environment to kids crunk from school, tv loud asf, house hot bc no one seems to want to turn DOWN the mf heat, bills high, etc. everyday ain’t a “hey honey how was work (kiss kiss)”. Sometimes u wanna open the door and kick a whole in the wall
But if your wife is a nagging bytch that just amplifies EVERYTHING. I started taking the looooong way home lol.
