I can't believe this simply because it's a slant to their 6th option (in this particular game). If you throw it then make it a fade to Chris Matthews. Dude was balling all damn game. It's the coach's job to mitigate potential fukk ups and the OC did none of this. I'm not sure it's racial, but it's definitely personal.
but at the same time...Chris Matthews, a guy no one heard of, was an impact player this game. Butler, a rookie CB who played little snaps, had play of the year. hell 8 years ago...DAVID TYREE had the catch of the game. Teams sometimes have great trust in mediocre players. sometimes it works, sometimes it doesnt

i dont buy it that an NFL coach is bringing that into this. i mean for fukks sake it might be his job on the line :heh:

i get it that the gut reaction is 'everyone was sayin fukk marshawn and they didnt wana see him shine" but cmon brehs. no one is sacrificing a lombardi for that, and no one on the hawks is playing along with the league or goodell or whatever outside force doesnt want him to be MVP

ill say it again, superbowl mvp is an afterthought in the grand scheme

I think you're underestimating how arrogant Pete can be. He probably thought the game was in the bag, and he wanted to show out a little with Russ and did something that @Peter Vecsey called, "uncharacteristic" and it certainly was.

Ask yourself this, if you thought you had the game in the bag, and you kept hearing shyt from the league about keeping Lynch "in line" or whatever, would you want to risk Marshawn on the ceremonial podium in front of millions of people around the world talkin bout "I'm thankful....I'm thankful"?

What other reason would they force that dumb ass play, that a rookie who didn't even play all season, saw coming a mile away? Just answer me that.

If I'm Marshawn I'm the one that feels the best on that team coming outta the game because everybody in the world already knows that I would've won the game if I would've gotten the ball. So everybody is on my side really. Plus I got a ring last year and I'm gonna get paid. He just wants to play and live life anyway.

Is Wilson catching heat tho?

the whole thing is weird breh. for one, him throwing that is a quick incompletion that stops the clock, unless its a score. 99% of the time. thats a huge reason

look, for the record i like marshawn, and i woulda liked to see him win mvp. all these fags in the media and espn comment sections woulda been furious about it. but if we're gonna get into some kinda conspiracy theory about throwing being a call from the front office to deprive him of an award that gets voted on :mjlol: im not hearin that shyt. i wont give it any more than Pete going to wilson to get him the mvp, yea maybe over marshawn :ehh:

but no game was thrown, none of that bullshyt

Oh hell no they didn't throw the game, I just think they wanted Russ to get his shine on. Dude has a lot of sponsors, I think they wanted him to get more attention than Marshawn is all. I don't think Goodell had a part in it.

When you got a clip of Marshawn turning around and flipping off the bench during a game I'm gonna go ahead and say it's personal......especially since they was trying to pretend like he wasn't shyt before the season began.

Smart answer so don't let what cacs want him to do.

If I was Beast Mode, I would ask for more $$$ that I deserve or I would leave your ass cause you won't find another RB like me.

I"m still in shock :mjcry: and :pacspit: NFL and the CACS and :pacspit: Tom Brady.....even I'm from Michgina but f(ck Tom Brady :pacspit:, :pacspit: Bill, :pacspit: The Patriots.....:pacspit: Gronk for real.
