They might as well bring Wesley back and give Blade a proper send off.

A love letter to Wesley for birthing this shyt.

But once that moment passes, when will Blade and T’Challa have permission to again be fictitious IPs on the big screen?

Spider-Man, Batman, James Bond, and all the cac-children heroes get reupped every 4-5 years. When is it acceptable to avail such grace to characters aimed at negro kids who don’t care about love letters to old nyggas?

Or if Aaron Pierre does great with Green Lantern, will John Stewart join them on borrowed time to be iced once Aaron leaves? :lupe:

On the homies... Cuh still in shape. He could still do it. Just tell him not to be a asshat on set like he was on the set of the last one...

Allegedly. :heh:
This happened because David Goyer tried to introduce two new characters in the movie and have Blade as a side kick or play the backround. It's Goyer's fault for that shyt fest. I don't blame Wesley one bit. Then they tried to portray him as the angry black man who doesn't work well with others.

T’Challa 100% is coming back. And i’m pretty sure it’ll be Damson Idris who plays after the next Avengers film.

Its going to be T’Challa, either a multi-verse variant or at the least T’Challa’s namesake son with Nakia.

Mark my words. T’Challa will return
:yeshrug:Hopefully…but the leaked concept art tells a different story. Hopefully you’re right tho.

True but it’s the same bullshyt going on.

Think of it this way: Blade came out in ‘98… and if you’re my age (late 30s/early 40s), we ate good back then as preteens/teens watching them two rated R films (Blade 3 was sabotage); a fictitious young black male with powers, skills, a hot female companion, whoopin ass and saving the world.

In a sense, Blade was the equivalent to being my “Penny”/“Ken Griffey Jr” and BP was my “Jordan” (for white folks it’s prob Spider-Man) but unlike Penny, Ken, Mike, (or Wesley, Tobey, Reeves, Chadwick, etc.,…) Blade, TChalla, Spidey, Batman, Superman, Frank f’ing Castle are always meant to be in their beginning if not MVP seasons, or at worst reset after their last dance to again be the Penny DRose or Jordan Kobe for the next generation.

They don’t get buried with the actors or with the decade. Us old nyggas appreciate what they did for our youth/gen (if we were lucky to have em), but then we kindly get the fukk out the way for the next gen to see a modern prime Blade, or BP, or Spawn, whoop ass. That’s just my stance.
