I’m liking what I’m seeing so far. My only gripe with it is that I was hoping to see it dive into the city’s retro-futurism more as teased in the released artwork months ago. It had that earth’s NYC looking like something straight out of the Jetsons.

I mean, they showed a lot of that version of NYC in the trailer. It looked very Jetsons-esque to me.

On the F4’s side, yeah. I didn’t get that vibe for the city as a whole though, like the artwork teased. It’s 60s, but not exactly Jetsons futuristic. Minor nitpick overall.

Well, if you mean like floating buildings, then yeah, it's not like the Jetsons lol. Otherwise, it's very retrofuturistic.

I imagine they wanted to keep the budget down. Having flying cars and shyt for the whole city, in addition to VFX work for the First Family, would’ve been mad work for the effects teams.

They’re nailing the basics so far though and that’s what I really want from the film.
