I also gotta say

i get annoyed by mr fantastic feeling pain by being stretched. Reed can stretch across down town manhattan before he starts to feel any type of real pain. His powers are severely nerfed in these movies. He should be doing stuff elastic girl does in incredibles more often, like blowing his fist up and creating parachutes or rubber bouncy balls

Much different than described in the beginning felt complete but I wanted more

It doesn’t fit the Thunderbolts ending tho

It was ok. If I didn't know about Fantastic Four I think I would've liked it a lot better.
I think they should've went with the comic solution to beating Galactus and Shalla Bal seems to be added just for a few jokes for Johnny

It’s just a definite cash grab. How are we going to look at Doom and see Doom and not Tony Stark?
There are still folks who think that won’t be played around with come Doomsday/Secret Wars. In the MULTIVERSE Saga, no less. Like, come on.

This prob gonna get quoted with a link to the Russos refuting such, like Marvel creatives haven’t lied their asses off in press junkets before. Lmao.

Ima check Doomsday and then I’m done with MCU. They took a lot of effort in getting the 60’s look down & the family aspect but the humor and dialogue just ruins it. Didn’t bother me when I was younger but I’ve outgrown the low effort in how they tell stories. It just felt like a 2 hr Disney+ show, nothing felt unique or interesting about this. The long expositions are killing Marvel movies, my god it’s like watching paint dry. There’s no subtlety or treating the viewer like they’re intelligent. Everything is force fed and so heavy handed.

This really wasn’t any different than Endgame. In a race against time, the heroes gather as much intel to stop a super villian from destroying their home, hijinks and sarcastic banter develop.

Oh and the power of friendship (getting the crowd to stop being mean, getting Shalla to reconsider) once again saves the day.

Kirby carried the movie on her back.

Could have used 15 more minutes they had a pretty good thing going.

That was the only real gripe.

And the CGI, in one specific scene, about 20 minutes into the movie. Is it horrible if you've seen the movie, you know what I'm i'm talking about.

But the rest of the cgi is good. That's why it's strange.

8.2/10

It was decent, best ff4 movie ever but that’s not saying much. I enjoyed Thunderbolts more but it did its job and got me invested in Doomsday and restored my faith in the mcu somewhat with two straight good movies. I still think RDJ being cast as Doom is retarded.

I really liked the tone of the movie. Sprinkled in only a small amount of humor without being over the top. I thought the Silver Surfer space chase was awesome.
Vanessa Kirby was nailed and Pedro was solid. Can live with the character maybe not completely look the part if they play it well on screen. Last battle was just a tad underwhelming, but overall production of movie was done right.
I'd give it an 8.5/10. Marvel managing to string together a positive streak of quality releases.
