Could have used 15 more minutes they had a pretty good thing going.

That was the only real gripe.

And the CGI, in one specific scene, about 20 minutes into the movie. Is it horrible if you've seen the movie, you know what I'm i'm talking about.

But the rest of the cgi is good. That's why it's strange.

8.2/10
are you talking about the scene with Ben?

I enjoyed it but the action was a bit underwhelming for me, it needed some more pop to it. They didn’t go hard enough with Reeds elasticity. Other than Sue, none of the crew really got to show out. Overall I liked it though, it was refreshing to get something standalone.

Im guessing that’s Doom entering the main MCU timeline on the F4 ship from Thunderbolts. Doom is feeling a bit rushed for me, shouldn’t he have some deeper ties to Reed and the F4? Feel like we’re missing some key setup

I think
Doomsday opens with Doom styling on Sue and taking Franklin using the bridge they created, then they track Franklins energy/what they did with Silver Surfer to 616. My assumption is Doom as knowledge of the Incursion which is why he was not at the United Nations thing and is looking to have Franklin create a new Universe to "save" everyone which gives us the Battleworld scenario for Secret Wars Id think

the thing Is Doomsday is supposed to be Xmen Universe vs 616, and they imply Doom is from the F4 Universe with the UN seen and empty Latvia seat, and I don't think F4 is the Xmen Universe of the Past. I assume it is a self contained universe of its own, so why would Doom care about an incursion not in his universe unless he wants to end ALL incursions and create a universe "in his image" thus here we are

I liked it a less than Superman, but still liked it nonetheless. Could have had more action, but the set piece in the 2nd act was great. I think everyone nailed their parts down . Solid 7/10 for me.

Its crazy that we’ve had 3 fantastic 4 movies before this and the concept of franklin is just now being introduced, a character introduced in the 1960’s.

He’s older than a vast majority of marvel characters
That's probably because Franklin is a broken character. He could literally solve any problem F4 has with a mere thought. It'll be interesting to see how they write around Franklin being an omega level reality warper.
