All three of those characters were recasted.
What you mean is they shouldn't have recasted them and kept the original actors.
Chadwick Dying and RDJ getting old and too expensive are what ruined the MCU. Not any of the pivots they made to compensate.
shyt was never going to last once the OG cast starting going away.

Steve Rogers, Tony Stark and T'Challa were never recasted. We have a new Captain America but it's not Steve. I mean get new actors to play those specific characters. We've had 7 different James Bonds and 5 different people play Captain Kirk. They should have recasted the specific characters.

I don't think their names have any affect on the script. They can replace that in the dialog easy.
It was shytty movies and shytty replacement actors. which would have happened anyway if you kept the same names when recasting.
I'm not going to be as invested in a T'challa played by some british actor like John Boyega as i would with Chadwick.

You'd think Blade would be pushed more by Marvel simply to give the impression they wanna do something different

And Blade would be cheap by MCU standards

THey are detemined to give us a blade we don't want and have it flop. Instead of just giving us what we want.

Superhero movies are just sci fi action movies. If they focus more on the action. and less on whatever it is they are focusing on now they would still be winning.

I saw that and it defies logic. Like I wanna watch Highlander and really want a history lesson.

Or Predator and don't want to see an alien go HAM.

The first fukkin movie was exactly that and is a bonafide classic

So you didn't read the interview then. He's still the one who is making all of the creative decisions. Bob Iger isn't sitting around telling Feige "let's do Echo next...."

:mjlol:

oh lord above.

i think you think you are having this convo with someone else.

you need to re-read what i said.

search on here. i spoke about the feige/chapek situation years before you laggards caught up.

and there is no point talking about this with people who don't know how corporates work.

"Don't know how corporates work" :mjlol: @null I worked in government, I'm fully aware of people feeling like they have to "kiss ass" lmaoo like you're breaking news here.

That's not what happened here. Feige was out front and center in his own interviews explaining in great detail why the Disney+ shows were going to be "great" for the MCU and he's still the guy with absolute creative power under that umbrella. He's making the decisions.

The fans want Steve, Tony, and T'Challa

but Marvel playing stupid games pretending Sam, Riri, and Shuri "is the same thing" :mjlol:

Now they telling us fans that we don't want a Blade that's simply killing vampires, tho apparently they thought we wanted a Charlie's Angel's rendition of Blade where he was 4th billing:dead:

Only good decision they've made at this point is to reboot everything... but obviously strong odds they'll find a way to F it all up

But yea, let's wait until 2035 before it's ok to see Tony, Steve, and T'Challa on screen again, that's what the "fans" want. :old:

A proper grace period lmao

You think these movies would have done better if they simply changed the characters names?

This was recasting. They just did it in universe as well as in real life.

Its proof yall wouldn't have been satisfied. It was about their names it was about the actors themselves
