Shang Chi was trash because the concept of the movie was trash.
It should have been the Raid meets DBZ.
Instead they put out some goofy shyt with Awkwafina.
Imagine having a character who is a superpowered martial artist and not basing the movie around creating cinematic superpowered martial arts fights
If they had done that people would have wanted more Shang Chi just for the fight scenes the same way people did with Captain America after the Winter Solder.
super hero movies predate the mcu. Cartoons pre datevthe mcu.
Shang chi was created to capitalize off the bruce lee craze in the 70s. He should NOT have had a movie before

The last 5 min of Secret invasion are why it should've been a movie. That ending should've spilled over to other films and tv shows and they should've ignored all this multiverse stuff.
