I kinda get the vibe that the game will be like CvS 1&2 with assist and tag and with the character role spots leader/shooter/assault/vertical being the "ratio and groove" aspect.

So one life bar shared with maybe the leader having the most life or "guts" active while on screen, assault the most damage, shooter better projectiles, vertical an air dash or double jump etc etc... also possibly or mainly each assist type being tied to that role on the team.

That's a fine start for a new tag fighter

When nikkas talk about these games having 100 nikkas on the launch cast it denotes a lack of understanding balancing

You want to start a fighting game with a moderate cast size to at least see where the balance stands and what type of identity and meta is established. You launch this game with 59 characters you're gonna have quality control issues

In addition Arcsys is already pretty bad at balancing so you're already behind the 8ball:pachaha: 35 is just fine. It might be too much

35 is a lot of fukkin characters, esp if the expectation is that each is reasonably unique

I'm all for it tho, no complaints. But like i said few pages back, if they give us Hulk, She-Hulk, Cho-Hulk, Thing, Colossus, Luke Cage, Juggernaut, Abomination... i mean that's "cool", but it's actually not cool :mjlol:

Now that I'm over being upset that this isn't a marvel Vs game at all. I can appreciate it from a different lens.

Everything I have an issue with I still have that issue, but it'll be cool to see a new take on marvel characters especially in a fighter.

Definitely Day 1 along with the arcade stick although Ive basically transition completely to controller now.


Whenever those sticks go up... :dame: for sale. Someone make sure to let me know ASAP. Pretty positive they'll be limited and hard to get out the gate
