the most i will give is that it tackled the corrupt government. the rest was nikkas in poverty that showed why they were how they were

The Wire definitely made direct allusions to white supremacy vis a vis the lack of government action when it comes to the status quo. There was critique on everything from the underfunding of public schools in black neighborhoods to the lack of good policing in black neighborhoods which showed that everything was about ' juking the stats' and not necessarily making these neighborhoods safer. This all plays into the 'white supremacy' narrative as it speaks to the institutionalized plight of black neighborhoods in cities such as Baltimore.

I see your lack of comprehension. I said "topics through Luke Cage" which meant that the problem itself was that the entity of Luke Cage himself is a weak and malign vehicle to tackle black issues.

Okay, I see the "developer" is black, so I'll give it that. Still not a guarantee for anything, and that's because of what Luke Cage as a character, as a vehicle of blackness, actually means. We're not dealing with levels of Static here on the comic book graces of being socially poignant on blackness.


The entire premise of the existence of Luke Cage is faulty in itself considering his stereotypical origin as written by cacs and his lame character since then as written by cacs.

It's disproportionate because blacks are a smaller population and because homicide is a blanket word that has more than one definition.(Manslaughter, Justifiable Homicide and sometimes murder by association with those who actually commit the murders themselves)

The definitions and talking points definitely hurt.

I'd love to see whether Whites in the same age group really die to "unintentional injuries" at that rate and haven't had their homicide rate lowered because of under-reporting instead.

Plus circumstances to many of the official stats leave a lot of the context out why homicide rates for blacks is the way it is.
