Finally played this. The gameplay was amazing, and thank the lawd they made the MJ's sections fun to play this time around (
at taking care of Hunters with ease), but the story was so cliche/corny I was rolling my eyes for basically the whole last third of the game

And that's the problem. Had they gave me SOMETHING I would have had a reason to pick it back up. Hell they didn't even give us mission replay in a timely manner. Since I beat it and did the side stuff I hadn't touched it. Hell I doubt I'll pick up the sequel if it's like this one.
