I don't think that highly of Marvin Lewis, but he is not the worst head coach a team could have either. He did a good job of building a team that can show up at the door of the playoffs every year and are peaking to the point that eventually the bengals could have first round byes. He just has to bust through (Dalton too). Houston was flat out better those past two years, and Dalton was fugazi against SD
The Bengals are no different from the falcons, texans, dolphins, lions, bears, redskins or the other 75% of the league looking for consistent playoff wins and championships. That shyt is extremely hard to accomplish. I would give him another season unless cincy could hire a proven playoff winning coach to get them over the hump.

Nah, BJGE was actually on a fukkin roll. When that nikka is averaging over 4 YPC, you don't stop giving him the ball. If he is running up the gut and driving people back like he did on that drive in the redzone, he is feelin his fukkin self and you do not stop feeding him. Its rare when it happens, but he goes off sometimes. He should have ended with almost 100 yards yesterday.

Because his teams caught bad breaks & overachieved. Cin never truly had a team that was supposed to win (except 05' maybe).thats on the front office to provide talent. Not the coach. Marv may of had his 1st one if Andy didn't stink up the joint against SD. Marv can't make Andy pass like Brady or redo a game changing drop from AJ. Not yo mentionCin best player is on IR (Geno)But If Cin got something better to move on with. I have no prob with that. But if I was a owner Marv could work for me.


Football too much credit or blame is put on people
The greatest QB in NFL history only has 9 wins in the playoffs in a 17 year career. The Cowboys won only one in like 16 years or so. My lions has 1 playoff win in their franchise history. It's not easy to win in the NFL. Hell only 6 current HC have rings
